Money

Sivo APIs expect amounts to be provided in the currency's smallest denomination. For example, to transfer US$10.00 you would set the amount value to 1000, which represents a thousand cents (calculated as 10 multiplied by 100 cents per dollar).
For decimals that do not use cents (e.g. JPY) you won't need to multiply the amount. In this case, ¥10 is represented as 10.

Currencies

Currency fields take ISO 4217 codes in uppercase, like USD, MXN, or BRL. Every monetary amount on an object is denominated in that object's currency — a receivable's entries, fees, and credit limit all share the receivable's currency.

Rates

Rates are decimals, not percentages: an interest_rate of 0.05 means 5% annually. The same convention applies wherever the API reports percentages, such as fee or coverage ratios.
